AlpinersUSA represents a hugely entertaining fusion of the very best in Alpine and European and traditional music together with an eclectic mix of popular tunes from the USA and elsewhere. A typical performance will have you dancing or listening to a Viennese Waltz, a Bavarian beer drinking song, or a tango and end with a 1040s swing number, an up-beat rock favorite from the 60s, or a romantic ballad. Our repertoire is always growing and our versatility is huge. We play traditional music of Germany, Austria, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia, Russia, Hungary, and more. To add to the variety, we encourage audience requests - just ‘name that tune’ and we will do our best to oblige. Spontaneity is our mantra and your musical pleasure and satisfaction is our goal. Whatever your tastes, AlpinersUSA can provide something to suit. While most often configured as a trio (accordion, drums, guitar), AlpinersUSA can vary in size from two musicians (accordion and drums) to four or five musicians adding horns, as appropriate, for the venue size or event. Why not sample our music on the CD page or just come to check out one of our live performances? Check out our Calendar of Events for a dining or dance venue or a festival near you.
